peeling wallpapermould spots
Honestly, the room felt pretty outdated. there was peeling wallpaper, really noticeable. i also found some mould spots in the bathroom. It wasn't a huge amount, but enough to was good. the smell wasn't great either, a kind of dampness hit you as soon as you walked in.

peeling wallpapermould presence
the breakfast was not offered upon arrival that is unacceptable. i found peeling wallpaper a problem i expect better maintenance. mould was present on the walls and ceilings this is unacceptable in a hotel i expect high standards. the hotel needs considerable work to reach an acceptable standard.

the hosts were cute and helpful. the location is close to winter gardens. i also appreciated the free wifi.
the decor felt a little dated.

The hotel is located on a street with many guest houses. the winter gardens are literally behind the building. This is very convenient. shops and the sea front are also easily accessible from the hotel. the area felt safe, even at night.

the room was very clean I thought. the bar downstairs was a plus, it was a nice spot to relax before going out. vicky and rory are good owners they really look after the guests.
the bathroom was a little noisy when I turned the light on.
